Carissa K. Seidl, a dually licensed, multi-awarded Southwest Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America – Family Law recipient, has earned her reputation for providing honest, fierce and dedicated legal advocacy to families in Phoenix, Arizona (and surrounding Maricopa County as well as outlying counties) and in Nashville, Tennessee (in Davidson and Williamson Counties) who face delicate and high-conflict family law issues such as divorce, child custody, visitation disputes, and juvenile issues such as terminations of parental rights and adoptions.

Carissa is regarded for her exceptional settlement and negotiation skills as a Mediator. She holds her Certificate in Conflict Dispute Resolution from Mitchell Hamline’s Dispute Resolution Institute, consistently ranked in the top dispute resolution programs by U.S. News & World Report.

Carissa is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Arizona. She has offices in Brentwood, Tennessee, and Phoenix, Arizona. She focuses her practice on “all things family,” which spans the gamut of divorce, legal separation, annulment, custody disputes, visitation and parenting time disputes, grandparent’s visitation, child support, alimony and spousal maintenance, contempt and enforcement, termination of parental rights, juvenile dependency actions, and adoptions.

Carissa spends her time outside the office with family and friends, practicing yoga and aerial yoga, walking her husky, and traveling. She loves to volunteer her time to serve those less fortunate and those in need. She is a staunch supporter of Musically Fed and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

In Arizona, she served as a Judge Pro Tempore with the Maricopa County Superior Courts for several years. In Tennessee, Carissa is a Rule 31 Mediator with a dual designation in family law and domestic violence, as approved by the Tennessee Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts.

Diana M. Baskind, Esq. (Of Counsel)

Diana M. Baskind began her family law career in 2009 at a well known and reputable law firm in California before moving in 2013 to Phoenix. Ms. Baskind represents families in all stages of divorce and custody matters, including divorce, paternity, child support, modification cases, and prenuptial agreements. Ms. Baskind serves as a Judge Pro Tempore with the Maricopa County Superior Court. Ms. Baskind enjoys travel and spending time with her family.

Michelle Jameson (Paralegal)

Michelle has over 14 years of experience in family law. Her mission is to serve others and provide compassionate support during challenging times. Michelle is described as dedicated, reliable and able to take initiative to meet deadlines and accomplish tasks. Michelle connects with clients on a personal level, recognizing the emotional impact of family-related legal matters. Her goal is to make the legal process more manageable and less intimidating for those she serves. Michelle enjoys spending her time outside the office with her husband, her cat and dog, and enjoys hiking and being outdoors.
